Any item upgrader NPC can be located in the game. In general NPCs can be found in major cities or questing locations. You can also find upgrades for items by visiting dungeons that have high-level bosses, and speaking to NPCs at the garrisons of your faction.

The system of upgrading items in World of Warcraft provides players with the ability to upgrade the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. The process is similar to that of gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however, instead of using the currency appropriate to the task players need to visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.

Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in an ordinary version, while rolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.

Upgraded items may have additional modifications that can enhance their performance and boost their stats. These additional modifiers don't come with the upgrade cost. To upgrade a piece of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armoror Boboko located in Central Flarine.
