iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review

Contrary to other robot vacuums, this one isn't afraid to take on the stairs. However, like all vacuums and mops, it can get clogged by debris, such as stray tennis shoes ribbons, beads or play jewelry, yarn, or other stray objects.

The iRobot Home App allows you to label rooms and create no-go zones. It also lets you keep track of the progress of your mops as well as battery condition.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo J7+ is a robot vacuum and mop that combines smart mapping capabilities of iRobot with its ability to handle spills. The arm comes with an 240mL tank that can be easily pulled out and filled, making it easier to manage than mop pads found in other 2-in-1 robots. It also makes use of iRobot's PrevisionVision technology to avoid obstacles, which is more advanced than other models of this kind.

iRobot Combo i5

This multi-tasker is designed to vacuum and mop with one machine. Its vacuuming is done by a specialised bin that holds up to 60 days worth of debris that iRobot claims will reduce the amount of dust released into the air during the process. The i5+ comes with a dual multi-surface rubber brushes and Power-Lifting suction to tackle dirt and dust as well as pet hair and stains. Simply replace the Mopping Bin with a compatible cleaning product and you're ready to mop.

The i5+ runs iRobot OS and gets smarter the more you use it. It will learn your floorplan, creating a Smart Map that remembers room names and your personal cleaning preferences. You can then instruct it to clean a space or set a timer for the entire level of your home through the iRobot app.

iRobot is able to detect household clutter such as bags, shoes cords, toys and other items. It is compatible with voice commands like Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri, and understands about 600 voice commands. This is more than any other 2-in-1 robot vacuum mops.

iRobot Combo j5

This robot Vacuum robot Mop and mop from iRobot is a good option for homes that have carpets and vacuum Robot mop hard floors. It uses intelligent mapping and avoids obstacles to ensure that it cleans efficiently. It provides a variety of mopping options including the SmartScrub system to remove difficult stains. It also allows you to create No Mop Zones to ensure carpets don't get swept up. The dock refills the mopping fluid on a regular basis. This model is more expensive than the previous Roomba Combo J7+ but has more features.

Its patent-pending Mopping Drive System applies pressure to the floor to give it an even deeper clean and also removes tough stains. It can also reach under furniture and into tight spaces to provide a thorough clean. The Combo J5+ can be used with the iRobot Clean Base to automatically dispose of dirt.

It also detects and avoids things like backpacks, cords pet toys, litter boxes, socks, shoes, and more to make cleaning easier. With the iRobot app you can plan your home's cleaning schedule and manage your robot from any place.

iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 is an updated version of the Roomba i3. It has the same fantastic dirt compartment on the outside and it also has a HEPA filter to keep allergens out, but now it also supports smart mapping. You can now designate no-go areas to prevent the vacuum from vacuuming these areas again. The i3 Plus still has a variety of other fantastic features too like its advanced cleaning system that has a 10x power-lifting suction and a three-stage cleaning process. It comes with a textured surface to keep pet hair, dust and fingerprints off.

It is able to clean most debris and is great on carpets that are not bare, but it did have trouble with pet hair on carpets with low pile. It does an excellent job with carpets with a high pile and is much quieter than its rivals. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it comes with a self-emptying system that emptys the dirtbag, replenishes its water reservoir and cleans its mop pads.

You can create cleaning schedules with the i3 App. You can also use your voice assistant to control your wyze robot vacuum and begin or stop the cleaning. It can also track your home's unique layout to give you a personalized cleaning routine and schedule.
