Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The best way to upgrade your equipment in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This lets you improve it without having to rely on expensive drops or trades. This article will show you how to upp your gear effectively.

Upgrades to equipment give an increase in the item upgrader kit's stats. This bonus scales with the upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components make your weapons and armour better. You can find them by destroying enemies, purchasing them from karma sellers or finding them in the form of item upgrades-spheres. You can also salvage them from equipment that contains the components, or by utilizing salvage kits of high-end quality, such as Black Lion Salvage Kit and Ascended Salvage Tool. Contrary to other products upgrade components, upgrade components aren't destroyed when removed from an item.

Upgrade components are mostly used to upgrade an item, however, they can also be used for other reasons.
