The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to detect objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand which other robots aren't able to do. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.

While it's not quite as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to tell whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best robot vacuums option. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum bot and mop at the same time. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still a great choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an excellent option for homes with many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, design virtual barrier and no-go areas or alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also has an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for everyone but it will assist you in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot automatic vacuum cleaners and mop is a clever, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and function are among the best robot vacuum black friday on the market however it's expensive.

Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean Smart robot and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the few robovacs I've tried that does an excellent job of picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and doesn't come with an dock that allows the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price cost.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the cheap robot vacuum, there are many alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard floors, as well as a mopping function for a low cost. It's simple to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an electrical outlet and ample space for it to move however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be tucked away under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, with a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30, however is less expensive and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
