Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to buy a robot Broom vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba J7+. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features an elegant, top piece that resembles an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self vacuum-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand which other robots can't. And all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, while not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it can be difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. These machines are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable soft around obstacles like tables and walls which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is fantastic and has very few misses in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled using a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't required for the majority of people, but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the few robot vacuum cleaner comparison vacuums I've tested that do very well at collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning options available in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.

However, if you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine there are many other great choices on the market, including a lot of eufy models priced significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet floors, as well as a mopping function for a low cost. It's easy to set it up, simply connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock near a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move, however.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be placed under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from other models. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

eureka-e20-plus-robot-vacuum-with-baglesThe sleek G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky material such as cereal.
