WoW Upgrades - The item upgrading Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item upgrader mod, however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Crests
