Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Upgrading equipment grants a bonus to the item's base stats. The bonus increases with upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components make your armour and weapons better. They can be found by destroying enemies, buying them from karma sellers or finding them in item-spheres.
